HaggisHi there,
been following the diatribe from not just one cock but a small handfull. All seem to have joined around the same time....
Did somebody upset someones little gang on another site?!!!
It's one of the main reasons I don't frequent the deer forums in the UK much. Arseholes like the implied in this post just get in the way with their "my or the highway" attitude. It's a shame there's no form of computer fly swat or cattle prod to deal with them. They clearly have nothing better to do with their time than cause aggro. Wankers.
Phew! got that of me chest.
Anyway, keep the decent posts coming lads. I'm relatively new to deer stalking and the info has been very beneficial, even if you have to pick through the regurgitation of a few!

griffHaggis,
that would be me! I had a call from another member that there was a site that was making some absolutely outrageous accusations regarding the BASC stalking scheme on Arran.
After I challenged them on the accusations they then let loose a torrent of verbal abuse, which continued for about six weeks. They then followed me to AR.
They took great pleasure in the fact that they had upset the apple cart on AR.
The thread on their own site was entitled "TITANIC JOB" and went into details on how they had penetrated the inner sanctom of AR. I immediately cancelled my membership to that site, they eventually showed up here as:mannlicher-stu and tom mix.
It was obvious from the start that they had no intentions of engaging in any meaningful discussions.Their intentions were to cause as much trouble as possible, and then return to the safety of their own site..
I have no doubt that they will try and return, we just have to be ready!
regards
griff

Claret_DabblerGriff, did I miss a good row on another site?
Which one?
Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not out to get you....

griffBrian,
it would be unfair to name the site involved,as its not their fault it has become troll city.

Andy MassWithout being pessamistic,
I think that their, "sport" of causing problems on internet forums and in particular here is far from over.
Despite having their own site to play games on, some characters insist on posting inflamatory, "holier than thou" or just plain silly replies - drawing the respondant into their "game"
Ive been a member of various forums for several years, the writing style of those concerned is relatively easy to spot. It's quite sad that there are individuals connected to our sport who carry out such activities.
More concerning they have access to firearms.

That's what bothers me the most.
