For those of you interested in hunting and shooting, particularly in the UK and Europe, Fieldsports Channel, which has been going for eight years on YouTube worth a visit. They have a few million viewers

It has been mostly funded by sponsorship from clothing, optics and gun manufacturers. But we have a growing press / mainstream media / political class that is anti hunting.

So they are doing a fundraising whereby viewers can buy shares - min is £10. This will give them a pot of funds to produce lots of good TV about Fieldsports and to provide a counterview to what is portrayed in the media.

I have bought a couple of boxes of ammo worth of shares and do feel at least I am making a direct contribution to the cause. Yes I am a member of the associations, but they do have to have a long term working relationship with other parties so cannot put the same arguments across.

I will look into buying shares, I have been watching them on and off since they started. I find them really entertaining. They have an interesting group of characters on that show.

Charlie is a good guy and has worked incredibly hard to get the channel to where it is now. Glad to see someone is finally doing something to get away from the advertorial model.

I developed a model a couple of years back to achieve the same thing as I believed the days of product placement were numbered. Sadly I never had the time to get it underway.

I watch it on YouTube. Good show.

FSB is about the only hunting show I enjoy anymore.
