wildboarLigurian boars
Hi, few hours ago I took these photos of a good size sow and 2 piglets, with their summer coat and I want to share them with you. Boars where alongside a small stream, certainly enticing, since we are in a dry period.

IanFThanks for the pics WB - I tend to forget that the pigs change to a sleek coat in summer. Will be staying with a friend in Tuscany in the near future - hopefully will find time to get out and watch a few.
Have a good one

wildboarHi Ian, with their winter coat they seem to weigh 20-25% more.
Tuscany is a really nice place to stay; Mr. Tony Blair would certainly agree

Steve MalinverniTime is coming and even if it is still warm and some time still hot, and the most productive hunting days are when it is cold, I'm preparing myself for the 16th of September. At 50 meters my new rifle, a semiauto by Remington, mod.7400 Carbine, 30-06 Sprg, remains in the black area of a pistol target, with several hits in the central area. I used hornady interlock bullets, 180 grs, with 48 and 49 grains of VV140 powder. No big differencies between the two loads.
I'll take you informed
