9.3 riflemanNew Mannlicher Schoenauer Rifles???
I read somewhere that a custom gunmaker in Austria is now making Mannlicher Schoenauer rifles. I don't remember where I read it but the source mentioned that the guy had a website. Can anyone tell what it is or possibly just tell me his name. I would really like to see what he is producing and I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

9.3 riflemanWoodjack,
Thanks a ton for passing this on. It was exactly what I was looking for. It looks to me like he is doing exceptional work. Thanks again.

Mickey1I wonder how much they will cost?
There is no doubt that the original MS were the finest made bolt action rifles the world has ever seen.

Heritage ArmsI have seen them before, quality is great. One in 6,5x54 with a .264" bore would be a great rifle

Aleko,
If not a .264 bore then what?

That is the problem with many historical Mannlicher-Schönauers.

The 9.3x62 w/ G&H sidemount.

oldunI think what Stu C is saying that a number of 6.5x54 were overbore.

Heritage ArmsWell then a 7x64 will do nicely! You can still get the .268" bullets, just there is a much better selection in .264". I noticed RWS is loading the M-S round now, I wonder what the bore diameter is?

kutenayI don't quite agree with MickeyI concerning the M-S being the finest bolt rifles the world has ever seen. I would rate the original Oberndorf sporters as equal and the Brno-21Hs as equal or better. I own specimens of all of these and have owned/used others, I would take an Oberndorf sporter from the mid-'30s over anything else in a 9.3x62 with claw mounts as I detest G&H mounts.
