Anybody planning to attend the Rambouillet hunting show next weekend? (In fact it will be held in Mantes-La-Jolie).

Pierré Van Tonder will be there and I'll bring Jan Dumon on Friday of anybody wants to speak with either about hunting in Tanzania or South Africa. I've hunted with both and happy to share my experiences.

Does anyone know how far from CDG airport the show is and are cabs readily available?

From Roissy Charles de Gaulle it is about 80km and a one hour drive (more during rush hour of course). Taxi fare would be in the 110 to 130 Euro range on a week-day. On weekends and at night the rate goes up; could be 160 to 180 Euros. There are cabs in abundance at the airport.

A cheaper way would be to take the RER train to Paris and then another train to Mantes-La-Jolie, which would probably cost around 30 Euros, but take 1.5 to 2 hours (assuming you don't get on the wrong train).
