Lisenfeld scopes - info urgently needed!
Got the chance of a Jaguar 6x42 Spezial, with hunting reticle, seems a great little scope for a .22

Who knows anything about them? are they worth £25 or £50.

Somebody will come up trumps I am sure.....

Lisenfeld is living proof that even Germans can produce junk when they work at it thumbdown

3 shots do not make a group, they show a point of aim or impact.
5 shots are a group.

I had a 7x42 Lisenfeld binocular.

It gave me headaches when viwing through it for any length of time: spotting for Roe, for example.

Buy it, but give it to someone you do not like.

Guess thats prity conclusive though!!

Would they be better quality than a Nikko Stirling or Tasco etc?

Or are they just SH#T?

I have a friend who has a Lisenfeld 3-12x50 mounted on a Steyr .222 It works just fine!

Sportsman gun centre stocked them for a year or so - no longer, due I believe to high failure rate.

I've heard the samething about the reliability as André and Ian..

Having said that, if its functioning ok and not fogged or anything, its probably worth £25 to go on a .22LR...After all, what else would you get for that sort of money?

I second André's comments - utter trash.

So as not to just appear to be jumping on the trash Lisenfeld bandwagon - I'll sadly admit that years ago when I was less expereinced in life and especially rifle optics; I purchased a 3x12x?? Lisenfeld scope simply because; Hey, look; it's inexpensive!

Big mistake. It wouldn't hold zero, even when on one power when solidy mounted on a .30/06 Sprg. and shot to various locations (by as muich as 10") on the target when zoomed through it's power ranges.
