I am looking at purchasing a new S & B Zenith 3-12x50 with either the Flash dot #9 or #7 reticule. My only experience with S & B is with a Klassic in 3-12x42, #8 reticule that I currently own.
My question is do the FD #9 and #7 reticules in the Zenith subtend as large as the #8 in the Klassic? The scope will be going on a whitetail rifle so I was hoping that the aforementioned FD reticules would be a little thinner than the #8.

The FD7 is perhaps the best illuminated reticle in the market. Should be much better than the '8.

The Zenith FD7 reticle is thinner then on the Klassic model. I have one S&B Zenith 3-12x50 FD 7 on my Sako 75. Just a marvellous scope....they don’t get much better than that.
