Welcome lorefuma,

grazie per gli auguri, tuttavia.....I have to apologize with our not Italian speaking friends for my distraction. In this topic I answered automatically in Italian to 10,3x60r.

It is better to write in a language common to all the other members. It seems that the weather will be better on Saturday morning, less problems than with the rain.

Stefano,

No need to appologise my friend, I, and I am sure many others, appreciate the trouble our Continental members to post in English, but I agree that this is for the best.

Now if i could only get some of our American visitors to do the same! Wink Big Grin Big Grin

Regards,

Pete

Stefano, it's been a long time since I visited Val Trebbia, where my father's family comes from.I hope you find some nice cinghiale !! thumb Corriere della Sera had a sad article recently about people leaving Val Trebbia as there is no economic reason to be there. Frowner Take some pictures of your hunt especially if you see a unicorn !! Roll Eyes

Mete,
The unicorn is too far from Val Trebbia to be seen, it is in Switzerland that it has been seen.
As I wrote in my answer in Italian, I bagged one some weekend ago, the not lucky thing has been that the one that I took was a medium little one, that got out after two big. The dog handler continued in calling my attention until I put attention in his direction, when the two boars got out I saw them with two/three seconds of delay, and I missed them. The third one, instead, got out after I've commanded the dog handler to shut up. It had all my attention, and I bagged it without problems.

The area on the road between Genova and Piacenza includes also the Val d'Aveto that Ernst Hemingway defined "the prefect valley". The Appennini mountains are in the last 40/50years been leaved by a lot of people because they are "out of the world". The Statal Route 45 is a nightmare, full of curves, dangerous and tight, with hight risks to have the mountain slide down on the road.

At the same time is this nightmare that help to preserve the nature and increase the wilderness. If you come in Italy, I'll be happy to meet you there.

Don't worry Lorenzo,
I've been the first who made the first error.
Take a look at http://www.flupper.net/mesolcina-caccia/modules/news/ and eventually register there.

We must help massimo in make some movement on his site Wink also because he has some beautiful photos and because Grigion Hunt is interesting and a little funny for us.

Please Wildboar, do the same. Moreover we can write in Italian Big Grin
