Good news from Baldock.
Got home last Sunday from Baldock, after a great trip.
Lots of deer everywhere and Poul still going strong.

IanFGood to see you again Solvi - we dropped in the day you flew out.
Seems as though there are still one or two deer around for the next meeting!
See you there!

solviIan and Chris,
It was great to see you again and Jo, it brought back good memories from our AR hunt.
How was the result that Sunday?
For those that haven’t been to Baldock, Paul is the leader of GAP 180. The hunting club that has responsibility for those 54 high seats , we shoot from.

AndersGreat! I'll participate in february, and can't wait!

How's the chance for a fallow stag?

Fallow BuckAnders,
Several good bucks were seen last year, one of which on the last evening I heard was qquite a special beastie!!
the big boys tend to be a little shy and skulk in the shadows only coming out at the last knockings. This means that often guns will shoot the cull animals as they arrive at the stand and the big fellas that are hanging back avoid getting shot.
As it is a cull hunt much of what is shot will be of no trophy value but if you are in the stand at the right time the big fella might just make the wrong move!!
