1894mk2A very proud Dad
2 bored males in our house, some nice weather and a wife free zone. Take the old 22 put the scope as far back as it goes (not far enough but it'll do) Move the car 20yards from a backstop in the yard and check the rifle is still approximately zeroed.
Son shoots a milk jug with water, some animal targets then shoots a 5 shot group.
I checked for flinching throughout and hoped he might have got some on the target......words failed followed by huge whooping (from Dad)

1894mk2Yup he just thinks it's normal for an 8year old to shoot like that first time out! He was apologetic for not getting the bullseye.

Rick RThe most fun I've had shooting was with dad and a .22lr around 6-10 years of age and again with my son's and a .22lr.
Enjoy your son and take him shootin'
