ldkierThanks so much for your help. The rifles are bolt action Kimber and Winchester M-70. The shotgun is a Beretta 686 O/U. Yes, he is a Swedish citizen and currently has an old beat up Husqvarna 146. I'm getting too old and feeble to hunt any more, so I want to pass them along to him.

Nordic2To old? If a old hunter around here dont show up at moosehunt he are usually dead the next year.
Great what you are able to give them to him. In what part of sweden do he live?
Those models are no problem in sweden.

OrvarMake sure to do 4457's on the guns BEFORE they leave the USA, in case they ever need to go back.
If you fly the, its real easy. I have never tried with transport company.

Fallow BuckGetting them out of the US is indeed the most difficult thing. Many US dealers do not have export licences so it is a case of finding the right one.
Importation into Europe is often the easy bit.
If you need some help drop me a PM and I will see if we have anyone in the region with an export licence set up.
