Pete EIf these are the ones called "Lisenield of Germany", I've been told they are actually made in the Far East, and they get away with the "Of Germany" as that is part of their name...
Not sure about the quality of the scopes themselves as i have never used one, but they were priced up pretty much like Meopta last time I saw them, and I prefer Meopta as a known quantity so to speak...

Claret_DabblerI was under the impression they were Czech scopes. Could be wrong. There is a town called Lisenfeld on the outskirts of Brno, I have stayed there. I might be reading too much into that.
I have seen 2 of these scopes. They wer OK but nothing more. Not as good as my Meopta 6x42.
Editted. Just re-thought that. The place near Brno is just called Lisen.

Andre MertensWe've already talked about them. Lisenfeld is living proof that even Germans are able to produce trash when they work at it.

IanFI recall that in the UK the Sportsman Gun Centre used to stock this range.
Believe it was discontinued - after unreasonable levels of returns to the shop!
Go Meopta in the same price range - or the outstanding new Nikon scopes.

Pete EIt was the Sportsman who told me that they were made in the Far East and even though they stocked they at the time, the guy advised me stick with Meopta..
