Re: Culling deer in Europe
Yup - welcome to my obsession! However my hunting is all close to home or work so door to door is not normally much more than 3-4 hours an outing. I rest a bit in June (too early and late starts) and around Xmas.

EXPRESSNitro, hunting in the UK is a bit of a shock at first mate.
The first time I went over there I felt like I was doing something illegal sneaking around within sight of peoples houses, sometimes up laneways between houses, carrying a rifle with a silencer on the end of it!
This was north of London, the hunting in the SW was a little bit closer to a suburban/fringeing on rural setting that you would get in Australia.
Most of the time we were no more than a short walk from the nearest road.
Once you get used to it, it has a very "civilized" feeling to it.
Get up in a house in a small town, go hunt. Stop in for a fried breakfast not more than 10 or 15 mins drive from where you were actually shooting then go look at gunshops!
It doesn't
feel very wild, but there is a surprising number of deer over there, and they are just as wild as any of the Aussie deer in most cases.
