walkaboutDybowski Sika Hunting in Ukraine - Free Range
Dear fellow Hunters,
I thought id post here to inform hunters about a fairly unknown and very interesting hunting destination.
Ive been living here in Kiev, Ukraine for more than 7 years and have hunted here for longer. Ive organized hunts for foreigners for a few years but now getting more serious about it. So far ive had Norwegian, German, Danish and Australian hunters. This last season has been very good with some spectacular Trophies taken. Most hunters come for the Sika as there arent many other places in the world where you can hunt this (largest of all) subspecies in the wild. But i also offer hunts for Red Deer, Roe Deer and Boar.
These Sika were introduced from Eastern Russia mid century and there are now a number of established herds.
Hunters will use my 30-06 Rifles as its just too cumbersome and slow to import their own. It is legal for them to use my Rifles and to hunt here if they bring with them their rifle licence and some sort of hunting licence or Firearm training etc.
I do the Trophy prep and supply a Vet cert so hunters can take trophies with them, which i recommend as it saves a lot of hassles and expense.
The Season runs from 1st Sept to end of Jan so there is still time if anyone is interested. I still have a couple licences left.
The hunting areas are in the central and western parts of the country no where near the problem areas of the east. There are absolutely no security issues. People are nice and very friendly.
Hunt is $4500, Includes 4 days hunting with rifle, food, accommodation, transfers, guide, English speaking translator or guide and trophy prep. No extras and no Euro style extra fees per cm!!
If coming before the end of Jan will do an AR special for $4000
