DomNice . . . and expensive. Outa my ballpark

Not sure how that VAT works though:
Please note that items marked * are subject to 5% VAT on the hammer price; Items marked ** are subject to 20% VAT on the hammer price; Items marked † are subject to 20% VAT on the hammer price.
This mean that VAT was never paid when originally sold? Or they just sock it to ya selling used stuff also and double the VAT income? If VAT already paid once, why have to pay it again?

londonhunterFunny you should say that
I actually got approved a silencer for One of my doubles ! 416
But they would not approve one for a 9.3 double ??? Go figure
Should I go back and ask for one more so I can have a second shot ???
For those outside uk one has to get approval for every item you intend to buy for the duration of the licence

I see no asterix on this lot, I think VAT applies only to lots "NIB", which are sold by a professionnal

Claret_DabblerVAT appplies to the buyers premium, varies between 10-20%. So if this lot sells for £45,000, and the premium is 15%, that is £6750, plus 20% VAT on the premium is £1350, so that is £8100 fee's on top of the £45,000.
