They do love bird seed !! dancing
That was in the USA, PA perhaps ? He had just erected this "bear proof" system !
In the Adirondack Mtns we have at least one bear that can open the "bear proof containers " !I finally got a photo of a bear here in the Catskill Mtns with my game camera .Bears are common here - the things that 'go bump in the night' ! Roll Eyes

Personally, I think photo #2 offers the best opportunity to plant a .366" 250 gr. Nosler Accubond in the "X" ring .....

Guess I better have the shotgun ready with slugs at hand Wink
I promise I will fight for my birds and for the feeder!

I don't know about you lads but I just couldn't bring myself to shoot a bear raiding a feeder by inching across a rope, it would be just wrong.

Run up and smack it's arse with a paddle yes, but shoot for ingenuity and derring-do, no.

Gerry the same thought crossed my mind ...............

Its good to have the old timmers back on this forum at one stage I thought I was left here alone with you guys all gone hunting ....

OK these photos were sent to me by a hunting buddy in Ontario and he in turn received then from a hunting buddy from FORTE STEELE near CRANBROOK in Canada. unfortunately it was in a reserve and without a tag NO SHOOTING.

Anybody know where that is ?

OK quizz time

Does anybody know how to tell the difference between the POOH of a black bear and the POOH of a grizzy bear ?

This is serious mastermind question for the serious north american hunter ...........
