Dangerous Game in East Sussex
Nope I'm not talking about the annual Nettle eating contest...

As the fallow season approaches I thought the wise thing would be to go out and see if I could identify any of the major migration routes where I could roll over a couple of bucks next week.

With my usual cunning stealth and guile... (ahem,) I was looking in a sunny glade and spotted probably the most dangerous game I have ever seen. Yes it was the lesser known Sussex Ninja Sheep...

I managed to evade detection through a combination of introspective meditation and a the footfall of a loepard.

It looks like they are fighting back Pete... You might want to bring the 9.3 with you next time as the blonde doesn't look too dumb Wink

I wouldn't worry too much until you catch them ordering and eating pizza. Once that starts, you're really in for it.

FB,

Another of your cunning plans fails! With those sheep so heavily armed, you'll never be able to have "safe sex" now!

You mentioned the Ninja part and it reminded me of a video I saw earlier in the week. I hope it is acceptable to link to youtube, but this is quite funny!

Pete,

I think I recognize the blond from a Stag weekend in Amsterdam - she was wearing more make-up at the time though; obviously on the Lamb....

There obviuosly not welsh sheep, there are no love handles to grab hold of!!!!Funny how every likes the blonde! once you've tried black you'll never go back! or so the old addage goes.
Perhaps we should bring this upto date and go with : once you've tried black welsh mountain you'll not go back..

Tankhunter,

Give Rick Whitely a call at Gunrunner. The website is on my tag line. He's the best guy you could ask for to take you out stalking in Sussex.

Basically it will be for Fallow deer, and the land that Rick Stalks is stacked with them. You won't be shooting trophy heads but you will have a great time experiencing English Stalking.

Where abouts will you be staying?

If you end up in the area then let me know as I might be able to get over and see you or organise some Duck/goose flighting if the birds are about.

Tell him Kiri gave you his name.

Tankhunter,

I was down that way this mornign looking at my pheasants and ducks and was driving over to a mates house. There were a herdof about 15-20 Fallow in a feild so I stopped and took some pictures. Turns out is a bit of ground my mate has just got the stalking on.

On my way back I saw one of the neighbours and I think I managed to add another 120 acres to my shoot, and a cracking bit of woodland. It'll make a massive difference if I get it all sewn up for this year.

I'll try & post some pictures of the deer. The interestng thing was that there were some black fawns but no black does.
