MadWolfPete E and Johan
We have 3 deer species:
1)Red stag(Maral)Population

nly 5000 or 6000 marals.
2)Fallow deer.Population:Only 500-600 fallow deers in Antalya Dzleramı National Park.Very sad story!!!Fallows originaly from turkey.
3)Roe deer.I don't now how much roes live in Turkey but they are little bit lucky than others.
We have 2 sub species of gazell(antilopinae)
1)Persian gazell.Population:500 in the Urfa Ceylanpınarı region.
2)Gazella dorcas.Population:Only 20-30 gazells live in Adana Sarıam region.Probable we lost these gazells in the near future
All these animals are in danger and protected by goverment.
An interesting not we have 2 wild sheep species and Anatolian wild sheep is father of the domestic sheep!Their population is over 1000 and naturally they are protcted!!!

Sorry to hear about the very low populations on some animal spieces. Is this because of poaching or predators such as wolfs ?
Would you tell me a bit more aout the requirements for hunting in Turkey, send a private message if you like.
Is it any of the deers and anthelopes avilable for hunting?
Cheers
JOHAN

Steve MalinverniMadWolf,
I was looking for contacts in Turkey, when it happened that damned diplomatic accident (Ocalan event) between Turkey and Italy.
Can you send me some info on fee and prices at my e-mail address? You can find it in my profile.
Thank you very much in advance
bye
