The upcoming cold season is the whole point John! I'm planning to do as the native american indians did: Smear my body in rancid bear fat to stay warm! So I desperatly need to shoot a bear before it's too late!

Actually, this method is helpfull, although I've never tried bear fat! It's quite common to put a layer of vasiline (never use a cream that contains water, as it will freeze to ice beneath your skin...) on ones face in extremely cold conditions. Did it often in the army while patroling our big red nabours border years ago, which is far above to arctic circle... It worked too!
