FlippyNew Barnes Varmin-A-Tor Bullets
Has anyone had experience with the Barnes Varmin-A-Tor Bullets? One of the local gunshops started carrying them very recently, but nobody has used them yet.
They have some 250 count boxes for about $25. Just wondering how they compared to other offerings.

MuleriderI bought both the 40 and 50 gr about a year ago, and have used them in 221 rem, 222 Rem, and 223. Accuracy seems to be slightly less than a Horn VMax or a Sierra BK or MK, but not enough to likely notice in field use. Only crows have fallen to the Barnes, so their terminal effect has not really been tested by me.

jbhewittI bought both the 40gr and the 50gr last year for prairie dog hunting hunting and can boast about the shoots made with this bullet. After minnium load work both weights shot constant in both a 22-250 and a 223. midsouth has them fore 21 dollars and change.

I'll probably stick with the Sierra MK. They are very accurate and are reasonably priced.
