The DerekWhich scope for new rifle?
Ok got the gun, savage 12 series 223 LP laminate stock, 1/9 twist
I own 2 scopes I feel would work on this gun, which do you think would be the best and why? This will mainly be a small varmint/ pdog gun but might try it out on a long distance lope this next fall with 75 amax's.

Tx6BRSorry, but neither scope came up. Some type of error from Natchez. I just ordered my 3rd Zeiss Conquest 4.5-14 scope. I flat love them.

The DerekOk, the links should work now. I think I copied the links while I was logged into the natchezss site, which maybe broke the links for anyone else.
Im leaning towards the 10T, it seems clearer and the oversized target knobs and sunshade would be nice. Just not sure if 10x is enough for pdogging, I really havent ever done any yet.
My price range for this project is definately not in the zeiss range, unfortunately.

Tx6BRI have a Weaver Gran Slam 6-24 on one of my 223's. It has the varminter dot and is awesome on PD's. Think I gave around 335.00 shipped to me from Bear Basin. It would probably be more in your price range. I seldom ever go over 12 power on my scopes. On a hot day just too much mirage.

HEAD0001The Weaver is more than enough scope. I wae told the Browning's are Bushnel 3200 Elite's. Not a bad scope, but a whole lot of overkill. I raelly like a straight 12X or 16X. But if you alrady have the 10X-I would go with that. Tom.
