M70 Coyote Recall? (.25 WSSM)
A customer recently wanted a Winchester M70 Coyote in WSSM. I called my rep at Jerry's and was told that they were sending all their M70 Coyote Rifles in .25 WSSM back to USRA. What gives? Anybody got the skinny?

Nothing mechanically wrong with the guns, it was an adjustment problems. It was possible that some 70's went out with the trigger adjusted way too light.

re5513,

I called my son, our daughter in-law has a new M70 Coyote in .25 WSSM, and he said he has heard nothing from Winchester about any recall. Hers is wonderfully accurate with no feeding problems so I too wonder what gives. Lawdog

The recent issue of Rifle has an article on Win Coyote's - some (not 25wssm specific) seemed to have bad barrels and Win was going good on them. I would just call Win and see - the easiest I think.
