Rear Bag Recommendation?

LeopardtrackRear Bag Recommendation?
I shoot with a Caldwell Front Rest and I have tried several rear rests but none give me enough height, which causes me to screw my front rest down all the way and I wind up hunched over my rifle.
Can you guys recommend a taller/higher rear rest? I have been looking but they all seem to be the same height.
Thanks Fellas!

dampatentsold guys usually just saw and glue together (where needed) some 4x6 (or so) wooden spacers with carpet on bottom to increase friction and place the correct number under the bag for the rifle/scope combination they are using... young guys on the other hand ... search on their iphones for a solution

butchlocexcept for their weight, sandbags have always been a #1 choice. weight can be solved by filling them with Styrofoam beads instead of sand
You can also fill the bags with "KITTY LITTER"

Calif. HunterI have a bull bag filled with reloading media and a Caldwell (the larger bag) filled with the larger grained kitty litter that I use with no rear bag. Both of these nestle the action area of the rifle nicely. I built a little platform out of 2 x 4 s on edge for the base with a 1 x 12 on top about 16 inches long. I put some soft thick leather on the bottom of the 2 x 4 s so it won't scratch the hood of my truck. The height is near perfect for shooting off my 4x4 F-350's hood, my preferred method for prairie dogs in AZ.

srtraxI have used tube socks filled with sand. Dont fill full and you can fold them for more height...Cheap!

erictBe careful using kitty litter - a friend of mine used kitty litter and the bag got left in an overly moist place for a while. It turned into a solid block of kitty clay that he had to break up with a hammer.

swampshooterIf you want to do it correctly get an Edgewood from Sinclair or other accuracy oriented supply houses.
