I have a 257 Ackley and am thinking about loading 75 gr V Max for varmints.

If anyone has any suggestions for a load it would be greatly appreciated.

I have got the Vmax 75 gr going 3900 fps from a 257RAI with IMR4895, but it wrecks the brass, and the primer soon falls out.



Look in the Sierra load book. It has the lower pressure and more practical loads for this caliber.



When I get back to my home base, I will tell you my accurate loads.
