No flies allowed
I was sighting in my Coyote rifle (modified Savage in 22.250) at the 100 yard line in our cow pasture range the other day. When one of those big horseflies landed on my target and I couldn't resist it.

I'm amazed there are actually flies alive this time of year...I guess in CA. Not so much in Canada. We finally broke the cold snap though...up to -10C today. Almost feels tropical after a couple three weeks of -50!!

I ran 4 out of 5 blue bottle fly's one day with my buddy's savage 223.

They are a little smaller then a horse fly.

It is always nice when it comes together.

Watching through the spotting scope as the
4 wings of a small butterfly flutter down is surprising when one was watching the bullseye close by.
