My wife can also see the site from her work PC anyone have an idea why my home PC shows the site to be unavailable. I have Windows XP and I'm sure there is a setting that got messed up but, I don't have a clue what.

Sounds like a DNS problem with your home PC...it's having trouble resolving the name. Since I'm guessing you use your Internet service provider for name resolution, there isn't much you can do but to try the following:

Go to Start--Run, type 'cmd' (without quotes) in the Open: field, and click OK. From the command prompt, type in the following: 'ipconfig /flushdns' (no quotes), then press Enter. Then type in 'ipconfig /registerdns' and press Enter. This will get rid of any stale entry in your local cache, and your PC should go out to your ISP's DNS servers to resolve www.varminthunters.com.
