Hello Made in Sweden,

I ordered some, but have not tried them yet. Reloading information is included, but I do not have it handy, and don't want to "guess". You can order a technical report from their website that might answer some of your questions, they will E-mail it to you:

From the reports that I have heard on the factory Remington sabot ammo, accuracy is not that great.

Hope this helps, Bill

I tried them in a .308 mod 7 from remington custom shop, a particularly accurate rifle.
Velocities were erratic and muzzle blast was terrible. Accuracy was unacceptable.

Remington discontinued the Accelerator series of cartridges fairly quickly , supposedly due to the lack of accuracy , so I don't expect any of the new versions of sabots will do anything better , except perhaps consume some of your time and some of your money , but , hey hobbies are supposed to cost money - if they don't then you arent serious about it .

However , when you can still buy new packets of Rem. Accelerators off the sports shop shelves ya gotta wonder......

I guess its not all that impossible to get a sabot with acceptable precision. The swedish Army snipers are currently using a 7.62 Nato sabot round with a 4.8 mm tungsten carbide penetrator that averages around 1" at 100 meters. Thats not as good as match ammo, but with the improved trajectory and windfactor, it still outperforms the normal bullets. And it will punch a 4.8 mm hole in almost any body armor...
