Bill MChester, the groundhog at the St. Louis zoo died last year. They used a paper mache' groundhog to see if it could see its' shadow this year....

I don't know what Pennsylvania you live in, but my pennsylvania groundhog season is only closed during antlered and antlerless deer seasons and before 12 noon during spring gobbler season.
