Light Weight Varmint Scope
Hi
I just ordered a walk around Varmint rifle from Weaver Rifles. I had a Win 70 action (see my post if your intrested in why I had a wssm action) that Kevin Weaver is going to skeletonize and accurize. I ordered a pacnor 26" #2 fluted .223 WSSM, in a Hi Tech stock. It should weigh around 5 lbs. I would like to scope it with a light weight scope. I don't particulary care for Leupold, I scope my hunting rifles with Burris But they are a little heavy. Does any ony have any Ideas.
Thanks
Dr B

The new NIKON 4.5-14 Side Focus scopes aren't that heavy and give you enough power for a walk around varminter. I put one on a Model 7 for a walk around rifle and it was a nice match. GHD
