nilgi.223 Load recomendatios
First Merry Christmas to everyone. I am new to the forum and getting back into reloading and was trying to find some loads for 55gr nosler BT varmit, and 55gr Sierra Varmiters. I am shooting a RRA 20" varmiter. Any advice would be greatly apperciated thanks in advance.

700xcrThis load has worked really well for me. 25.5grs. of Benchmark with a Nosler 50gr. bts. using a CCI 400 small rifle primer.

TEANCUMI've had good luck with velocity and accuracy with RL-7 in my .223.
However I am shooting lighter bullets with Nosler BT 40 grains but the velocity is really up there at 3900+ fps with wonderful accuracy.
You might want to give it a try.

SDHandgunnerMerry Christmas
I have had very good results with 55gr. Nosler Ballistic Tips or 55gr. Sierra Hollow Point Boat Tails loaded with 25.5grs. H-4895 in LC Brass with Remington 7 1/2 Primers. In fact we have tried this load in a dozen or more .223's and it has shot less than MOA in all of them.

tiggertateReloader 10X is coming on strong too. Especially with the 40-50 gr bullets. I'm shooting about 24.5 gr with the Hornagy 40 gr V-Max.

seafire/B17GI've always maintained.. it is harder to find a powder that DOESN'T work well in a 223, than it is to find one that works better than other ones...

Jay GorskiI tried a lot of different powders for my 223, Id stay away from H335, its very dirty. RE7, Benchmark, & RE10X have produced some excellent results for me with 55VMAXs & 52/53 MKs.
VV N-133 with 40-50gr bullets and N-135 with 55gr bullets.

dwheelsI you have it available try 24-26 grains of WC844 under a 50-52 grain lightly constructed bullet. Light it with a CCI small rifle primer.
