Fjold440 Yard Raccoon
I got Bob this afternoon at 440 yards.
Here's my back yard, the bright patch of snow in the top center is where my feeder is.
Here it is at 30X zoom.
Here's Bob laying in front of the feeder
I call him Bob because of his short tail.
I shot him with my heavily modified Savage Model 11 chambered in 22.250AI

TASK1Kudos Frank. Great when a lot of preparation comes together.
Now.......if you'd just rebarrel that Savage to a .243, it'd be perfect. :-)

I have a Savage model 110 chambered in 243 but I just put a new barrel on it so I don't have it dialed in yet.
It's the bottom one here;

TASK1Nice collection Frank.
The rifle at the top of your picture looks exactly like my Tikka Laminated SS 30-06. Tikka's and Savages are trypically accurate - mine is exceptionally accurate.
My .243 is a wood stock Savage 110 Classic.
Thanks for sharing your story.

FjoldThe gun at the top is a Montana Rifle Co. action in an Accurate Innovations laminated stock.
