I'm reminded of the young woman in Maine or thereabouts who was dragged down and killed by a pair of coyotes a couple of winters ago. At some point her perception of the event went from "the grandeur of nature" to "oh shit".

I wonder how "funny" it's going to be when this same coyote, now emboldened, pulls down a small child and kills them.

Some people are too stupid to be allowed to live.

Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward. Wisdom comes with age! Sometimes age comes alone..

Absolutely correct.

It's people like this that are responsible for all the increase in coyote/cougar/bear/insert wild mammal attacks.

When I watched this, I found myself getting thoroughly furious with the cameraman.

Thanks to Disney and Hollywood, a lot of common sense has been lost about such things.

I can't help but think the same thing. It's acting a lot like my Beagle does when I play with her.

He didnt look skinny and hungry to me , and had pretty much no fear of the camera guy. I suspect he was human-raised , and the guy with the camera is lucky to still have all his fingers.

Me - I would have given the coyote a boot in the ribs and then chased him so he got the message . ( but then , we dont have coyotes so what would I know ...)

I think, being not english native,

that the guy says, this is my dog in the end of the tape.

Still I think I prefere to have my yotes skinned and tanned.

The coyote gave this guy a warning within a few seconds of the start of the video. When the coyote squared off on him and laid back his ears, that was his signal to back off. The coyote's choice was to make a retreat until this idiot chased him.

This idiot did a good job of making an aggressive coyote.
