loads 4 a encore 22/250?

Anyone out there shoot a Encore(pistol) in a 22/250? If so what powders do you use?

Mark,
The best load I've found is a 33grs of IMR3031 pushing a 40gr Hornady V-max. The gun has a 15" barrel and shoots the load at just under an inch at 100yds from the bench. I've been shooting groundhogs in PA with it at about 200yds for several summers. My daughter goes with me and she says the noise and muzzle blast are so offensive, it should be outlawed, even with hearing protectors. Bite your tongue girl! Have fun with your Encore.

First throw on a butt stock and get out the barrel strecher. Draw the barrel out to a min. of 26" and you should do well!
