"FMJ bullets are good target"- I know.
"but you want an expanding bullet to hunt game animals with"-No.
Task : varmint and animals(fox,wolf) - max.100kg.

NOT a good choice of bullet for game and two-legged varmints. Pick a soft point or hollow point tailored to the target.

The Federal brass is good to reload, though.

P.S. FMJ bullets are not legal for hunting in many states.

It depends on what you are hunting:
big game (no); furbearers and varnmints (yes) at least here in Oregon.

FMJ's are not legal to hunt ANY game with in AZ.

Are you trying to save pelts? If so even the FMJ's in a 30-06 are going to be hard on the pelts. Maybe a smaller caliber?

If you're not saving pelts, and it's legal to use FMJ's where you hunt, then go for it. Just watch your backstops, because you will have over penetration and full exits on every shot.
