anybody had hogs come into your varmint calls?Have heard a few stories,sounds plausible,just wondering if true?

I've heard javelina will, but I tried it quite a few times and it didn't work for me.

Never had it happen with hogs but very common with javelina. I don't know why it works so well with javelina but they come charging in and very pissed off. Its always fun to do with a city slicker. He thinks he's about to get eatin.

Why Not? Perhaps not everytime and I wouldn't start calling to purposely attempt to call a Hog in BUT ....

we've had Coyotes come screaming into Duck Ponds when using Duck Calls,

had Foxes almost run me over in a Goose Blind when using Goose Calls in the middle of a wide open stubble field,

had Wild Boar arrive when using a Roe Deer Fawn Bleat call,

it happens on occaision.

Can it happen? Yep

Does it happen? Yep

Would I want to have to make my living doing it? Nope

Very low percentage.

I prefer using a "corn call".
