<pa hog sniper>Hodgdon Benchmark?
I currently use VARGET in my 22-250 with 52 grain Starke red praire varmint bullets with good results but I am curious about the Benchmark powder. It is also an extreme powder which is a plus and I am led to believe it is a "precision rifle propellant". What would make this powder any better than VARGET?

Hot CoreHey pa, I've not tried Benchmark in a 22-250 yet, but it is an excellent powder in my 223Rem.

John BartelsHave a look at the reloading guide on the ADI web site...www.adi-limited.com.
ADI make much of the Hodgden powder range. The powder sold in the US as Benchmark is made by ADI and sold as Benchmark 2 (BM2). Varget is AR2208.
