Kimber rifles
Howdy fellas, does anyone have any experience or advise regarding Kimber varmint guns? I'm wondering how accuracy compares to Remington. The SVT really caught my eye. Thanks all.

I have three Kimber Classic Varmints: 17 HM2, .22 LR and 22-250. All look and shoot great. Lou

I have a Kimber Varmint in .204 Ruger and a Montana in .300 WSM. They are both great guns. The .204 started out shaky. It had to go back to Kimber due to a head space issue. They fixed it and blamed the fireing pin Roll Eyes. But they still fixed it. It did not shoot factory ammo very well. I was close to selling it before I found the right powder/bullet combination. It was shooting .6 to.7 inches. Good but not what I originaly expected.

I finaly worked up a load I like and it hamers coyotes! I can't wait to smack PD's with it this spring!!!!!

The Montana will shoot .5 to.6 inch three shot groups with 180 grain Barns TSX at 100 yards. And it is a dream to carry! Very light and comfortable.

The Varminter will shoot .2 to.3 inch groups with 32 grain Sierra Blitz Kings at 100. For my build it is one of the best ballanced rifles I have picked up. It is a very comfortable walking varmint gun.

I also own two Kimber 1911 pistols. They are great!!!
