About half an hour ago this fat boar waddled out into my back pasture about 200 yards from my basement door. Hornady 60 grain V-Max for the win.

He's plenty healthy for sure! I guess I should say he WAS healthy.

I saw another groundhog in the same area of that groundhog that I killed above. Unfortunately, it was 200 yards away from my daughter sitting in the same field waiting for a buck.

She called it about 5:30 PM and came back to the house when the rain turned heavy. Half an hour later the rain stopped and 30 minutes after that we saw an easy 140" buck walk out 150 yards from her blind and stand in the middle of the field for 10 minutes.
