my new varnint rifle
first load with 70 gr sierra match was a .285 in less than ideal conditions. i have said for a while now that i am a 1/2 shooter at best anymore. 31.5 8208 at 3300 fps.

had a screamer going in the upper center target .135 for 4 shots, 65 gr shilen match bullet but the first bullet got away from me, still trying to adjust to a 16 ounce trigger.
i have no plans on wearing out the barrel looking for that elusive .1 .2" load, it's going to the field with the screamer, the flier was more than likely the loose nut behind the bolt, me.

lawton 7500 br with a brux #5 contour fluted 25", jewel trigger, talley rings, hs precision stock and 6-24 elite 4200 1/4 minute dot.
other than that it's just another ordinary rifle

Looks like a great rig. I have a 6br coming in tomorrow and can't wait to see how it does. Cool little cartridge for sure.

Looks good to me. Congratulations on a fine rifle.

velocity is like a new car, always losing value.
BC is like diamonds, holding value forever.

I have some 65gr bullets to try. Which bullets are giving the best accuracy/velocities. What powder looks promising? I got my Cooper Phoenix today so now waiting on brass & dies.

MOA TACTICAL
How does it feed or is it a single shot?

The guys I shoot F-Open with are all shooting 6mm XC, or 6mm Dashers.

Personally I think that is a pain in the ass.
