homebrewerWhere to find the value of a used car?
Is there any place on the net where I can find the value of a used car to either buy or sell, given the make, model, year, general condition and mileage? Thanks.

homebrewerThank you, Ray. I got exactly what I wanted from that site. I went to nadaguides.com earlier, and you have to subscribe ($$$) to get prices and such...

homebrewerWe (my dad and I) ran into the subscription roadblock while trying to figure out what a certain car was worth. Ray swept all the trouble away with the Kelley Blue Book site and we were off to the races...

MacifejKBB values are about as useful as a democrat in congress.
You wanna know what your sled/proposed sled is worth find someone who works at a dealership and ask them to check Manheim auction results for the last couple weeks. Easier still is to call a dealer for that make and ask to speak to the used car buyer and ask for a buy bid and would he be a buyer and at what price.
The web isn't worth jack for car values....
Example...see what a 2007 Expedition is worth on KBB...then call a Ford store and ask them what they'd pay for same. Half...maybe less.
Same works for other makes and models your mileasge may var (A LOT!!)
