Hogwash! REALLY!

scojacHe'd probably be a good buffalo hunter. If the herd caught wind of him they would simply think it's one of their own.

Mark ClarkHaving been in a blind with a tracker, who I am sure did not know what soap is, I would say the effectiveness of the AOB is low.

Surely the responses to date are the result of the very hygiene the good old scientist has been avoiding?
Or to put it another way - if everyone smelt bad , who would notice it ?

Jeff SNI may be wrong but I think it was the PH Alan Black who never bathed because it damaged the skins oils.

Jeff SNI just broke out my Tony Dyer book and it was Alan Black. He also is said to have soaked his clothes in game blood as he thought it made them last longer. But one thing it doesn't say is anything about hogwash spray.
I for one will not be heading out to roll in the pigpen.

45ottoI get the impression he doesn't care what a wife, girl friend or any of you prudes might think.

Dave AndersonFor outdoorsmen who have done their reading this should be old news.
Patrick McManus has written several stories of his mentor, Rancid Crabtree. Rancid believed washing was dangerous as it made holes in his protective crust through which germs could enter.

lavacaI think I sat next to this guy on a plane last week.
Last week, I had something quite amazing.
I was at one of the local shopping malls, and was just about to get onto the escalator, when I saw a lady pushing a pram.
I stopped to let her get on first, and got on a few steps behind here.
Her BO was so bad, at first I started looking for someone else, then realized there was no one there but us.
She was a white European lady!

A number of years ago there was a very popular perfume much used by the 20 thru 40 year age group ladies, called Obsession. A female wearing that stuff could be smelled thru out the intire office within one or two minutes of entering.
It over powered my wifes, now ex-wifes, pourpori, smelly stuff the ladies like to leave around in bowls.
You could track these females thru the mall by the smell. Go by the perfume counter at the store and it was a foul smog hovering in the area.
One Christmas I was looking for Channel for the then bride. The lady behind the counter looked like she was going to spray with the stuff at me. I told her I'd actually prefer pepper spray. Leaned over the counter and whispered to that lady that this scent was for ladies who had not been introduced to soap and water, as well having no knowledge of female hygiene products.
I think she was insulted.

465H&HWhen I was much younger and doing a lot of elk hunting I noticed that the heavy wool buffalo shirt I wore seemed to be a good sent blocker after I had packed out a few elk while wearing it. After that it never got washed until the end of elk season.
