Well it finally came out .Another anchorman bites the dust ! One fellow I know said those TV types have enormous egos and will do anything to feed that ego !

But now NBC will invstigate the situation !

Wait a minute ! Didn't NBC do a program once about a GMC pickup truck ? Something about fires ? And to make a more interesting program added explosives to the flames ???

I'm sure NBC will make a complete investigation of Williams . We'll learn the whole truth !

Savage_99We like conservative broadcasters. We never watched Williams.
We listen to Rush Limbaugh and miss Leno on late night tv.

Get the 'power' or optic that your eye likes instead of what someone else says.
When we go to the doctor they ask us what lens we like!
Do that with your optics.

Bill/OregonI am sorry to see him ensnared in such a ridiculous trap he set for himself. As anchors go, he seemed like a decent enough sort, and i always thought he did a decent job of playing the ball down the middle, not like, say, Mr. Hubris Dan Rather.

Woodrow SA liar is a liar is a liar! He needs to resign as this is not the first time he lied and embellished the truth. He is supposed to report things as they happened...not as he wished they were.

Dulltool17Much ado about nothing, guys..If the highest elected office doesn't require integrity, why expect it of a journalist?

Ole Miss GuyThis AM the news was that he was to be off air for 6 months without pay. He will probably have a lecture tour and receive trice that.

dogcatNews should be news - not an event or a political spin. I liked Katie Couric until she forgot that. This guy is another in the long list of fallen egos. Where is Walter Cronkite when we need him?
18 February 2015, 07:25
Sean RussellWalter Cronkite was a self admitted liberal, one worlder who deliberately spun his news reports--he started and approved of media bias.

GatogordoReally a bunch of BS, mostly by those who don't have anything better to do with their time. What possible difference does it make to anyone whether he exaggerated his experiences or not? I don't know him, rarely watched him, and don't care if he fibbed a bit or not. Most humans do at times.
It is a shame we can't apply the same standards to our politicians, though.
