CrazyhorseconsultingThe 10 Commandments..............
.....for being a "Good" internet forum member.
1. No matter what you have actually done in your life, someone that knows absolutely nothing about you, will call you a liar.
2. Never, make a response that can be deemed negative or not in line with the popular thinking of the "In" crowd on the site.
3. Independent thought is not permissible, it creates a dangerous precedence.
4. All things are the same everywhere and everybody has the exact same opinion on all subjects! Thinking contrary to that is not permitted.
5. No matter how you feel about the game you have killed, others will tell you with certainty that it should not have been shot and as a hunter you are pathetic at best.
6. No matter how much you have spent on your hunting equipment or how good you think it is, someone will tell you how much better their's is and why.
7.Your opinions on religion and politics are irrelevant and should not be submitted. You will be told what to think and how to believe.
8. Common sense is not the same for all people, and someone else's is ALWAYS better than yours.
9. If you are a Guide/Outfitter/PH, people that have never done business with you will happily get on the site and testify to what a low life scum bag you are and how sorry an operation you run!
10. Enjoying a hunt and doing evereything legally is not acceptable, only the group ethic, depending on the group is acceptable!
Moses would have brought these down with the original 10 but did not feel that they were that important.
Maybe these were on the third tablet "Moses" (Mel Brooks as him in "History of the World") dropped?

Naw, not really. Just some things I see on every forum I am on. Regional forums tend to be worse at it. Especiallyu if they depend upon sponsors that help pay for the site.
Pretty heavy handed on the moderating and more prone to have cliques/clans/gangs that sort of run the show.
HOLY CRAP! that looks pretty much like the "Gun Club" Ten Commandments!
Great laugh and so true.

arkypeteOnce you know what the popular thinking process is it's fun to throw fire cracker in the hive and watch the bees buzz around.

robthomWith some minor editing, those points could be applied to companies which feel the need to have company statements on:
Work - Life Balance
Ethical Working Practices (this one cracks me up)
& Mission Statements in general.
Ahh, Group Think & follow the Leader.......
