Saw this story about these wonderful predators in the Mideast. I know folks in your part of the world have a special fondness for birds of prey.

We have some owls in our garden.

I haven't blind hunted in Africa in decades, but I shared a blind with three or four young barn owls and they were a hoot -- pun intended. They hissed mostly, not hooted. and rocked back and forth while they did it. I think they live pretty much everywhere.
