Hi!
For those of you that want to learn Norwegian. This is quite smart to know when you drive by in North Dakota.
1. Gun = Skytevåpen (The same as firearm)
2. Shotgun = Hagle
3. Rifle = Rifle (The "i" pronouced as an "ee")
4. Revolver = Revolver
5. Pistol = Pistol
6. Shell = Patron
7. Bullet = Kule
8. Barrel = Løp
9. Blaser guns = Plastikkdritt
10. Remington guns = Billigdritt
11. Ruger guns = Arbeidsjern
12. Kimber guns = Yankee snadder
13. Dakota guns = Yankee snadder
14. Zastava/Remington 98 = Billigdritt
15. Sauer guns = Tyskersnadder
16. Winchester leveractions = Rakleverk
17. Winchester boltactions = Arbeidsjern
18. AK-47 = Rakleverk
19. M-16 = Forkilingsekspert
20. H&K G3 = Arbeidsjern

CollinsAre you spelling them phonetically?
#19? for killing spekspert? Specspert never did anything to me...

No it is normal Norwegian, but in norway we do put words together witch you don't.
nr 19 is 2 words put together where the first is "forkiling" and the other is "ekspert". If you find out what they mean I will tell you. At the moment you are halvway into the bush.

Exclaimations are important.In the terrible floods in the Dakotas a few years ago they showed a man inspecting his house .He looked inside and said "uff-da" !!!..When we say "that's right" a Norwegian would say "accurate " !!

Where I live their are a lot of Scandanoovians. (I'm half Norwegian)

Uff Da is a popular expression and you even see it on a lot of bumper stickers.
