1st, congratulations on your granddaughters graduation. Now on to the other point. I personally am sick to death of this P.C. bull that has become so prevalent in our nation. Fact is that we ARE a Christian Nation, regardless of what barry in the white house has to say.But it's not just him;theres Congress, school administrators, etc. ad nauseum. So who REALLY wants to make these changes in our society + theological expression? Seems to me that EVERYONE that I talk to feels the same as me (+ I don't live in a bubble),so where is this moral + religious collaps coming from (because they are related)in our country.

Never mistake motion for action.

Congrats, tasco. We did the same last evening. Our grand daughter graduated from middle school (we called that junior high in our day, but it goes only to 8th now, it was 9th back then).

Hers is a public city school and they did the ceremony in a Baptist church. There was the pledge of allegiance for which all stood facing the flag. The kids led it. And there was a prayer done by the kids too, called an inspirational reading. God was mentioned.

Our grand daughter got recognized for being among those few with a 3.5 or better GPA.

Can't speak for the rest of the country, but this is the South and that's how it's done.

Way to go in the South! tu2 I remember my son in law's graduation from dental school at Louisville. Was held in a very large baptist church in Louisville!
