B.B. King is passing
He's on hospice at home. Praying for a peaceful, loving passage into the arms of God.
Saw him live at Humboldt State College in 1970, and he played Lucille as beautifully as ever. The thrill will never be gone, where we can hear the music from your soul, Blues Boy!

Rich, that's a phrase often heard, but in this case, the absolute truth.

OMG! I saw him at Humboldt State in the early 90s! Then again in 1997 in Bakersfield...

I saw him and Willie Nelson at Billy Bob's in Fort Worth back in the late 1980's I believe.

Even the rocks don't last forever.

We saw him in Connecticut with our wives the night before we left for Montana on a hunting trip; Kenny Wayne Shepherd opened for him.
Other shows haven't been quite the same, since...

Our country, right or wrong. When right, to be kept right, when wrong to be put right.

We have been to 3 BB king concerts over the last 25 years and always walked away thinking it was well worth the price of admission. A true giant of his craft.
