This really chaps my hide

I have been listening to the people I thought were freinds bash the POTUS for the last eight years. They have been ruthless. But I listened and then offered what I thought was a senseable even handed rebuttal to their gripes.

Now that the POTUS has changed to someone they like they refuse to hear any criticism of the person in office. They say "You can't talk to me about that". And "You can't say that".

My response is usually quite animated. I feel like thay are trying to muzzle me and I express this to them to no avail.. This is really getting my ire up.

They can all go to hell and piss up a rope.

Why would any sane and reasonable person consider them to be his friends? I have no friends that behave like that. People that do behave like that aren't my friends.
