Some BPE Rifles
I have been moving away from those new-fangled nitro powered rifles and toward the good old tried and true black powder cartridge rifles.
The variety and quality never cease to amaze.

Westley Richards 1871 577/500 No.2 (500 No.2)

Westley Richards 1869 patent rifles in 500/450 No.1 Express (top) and 500/450 No.2 Musket

Turner 500 No.2 (top) and Alex Henry 500BPE 3"

Dickson 450 3-1/4" BPE and Alex Henry (originally a 360)

Shooting a Field patent 500 No.2

Same rifle

Westley Richards Deeley Edge patent rook rifle in 320

George Gibbs 461 No.2 sporter.

Huvius, thank you for sharing your collection. It's simply outstanding. I'd be thrilled beyond words to have just any one of your pieces. Congratulations -- and if you want to add details on caliber, weight, rifling, etc., that would be icing on the cake.

Not revealing the chamberings (at least!) is cruel and inhuman punishment. Plumb mean! Wink

Great stuff! I've always wanted to take an Elephant with a BP 577 double rifle.

Just changed the original post.
The little A.H. was originally a 360 but is now a .22 Hornet so not a BPE rifle anymore but does look good with the Dickson. tu2

Oh yes!
I knew you would like that one Bill!
That one is IMO, the very last 461 Gibbs ever made and a super nice gun.
My dream rifle is a 461 with Selous plates. I am trying to remedy that though...

Well, Cal, I could duct tape those Westley '69s together and have you set up right proper!
