Jiri:

Interesting knives, about how much are they in dollars or Euros. The hunting knives by the son look interesting as well. Do you have any idea of their prices? Thanks.

Clement, I have the Cold Steel and they are great. Hold and edge very well. I can recommend them highly. I also have several Henckels 4 & 5 star, a couple of Wusthoff also, so in comparison to some other acknowledged nice knives, I make the vote for the Cold Steel.

Now, I might get slapped around for this but.....I saw some knives on an Infomercial and ordered them with the thought of using them as some knock around knives in my shop. They are called the 'Miracle Blade II' You can find them with an Internet search. I hate to admit it but they never got out of my kitchen, and my wife and I love them. They do all the stuff they showed on the informercial and stay sharp unbelieveably! At any rate I think they were about $50 for a set with several blades--4 steak knives, 2 slicers, 1 Rock and Chop, 1 straight edged chopper, 1 filet knife, maybe one or two others.... I know it sounds silly but I like em and may even buy another set for the shop or bar area.

Regards--Don.
